A major diplomatic breakthrough has emerged in the Middle East after the United States brokered a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah following days of intense negotiations. The deal requires a complete halt to Hezbollah attacks and the withdrawal of all Hezbollah operatives from the South Litani Sector in southern Lebanon.
