Man arrested for molesting Russian minor girl in Goa

North Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) Shobhit Saksena on May 12 in Panaji, informed that the police have arrested a man for molesting a Russian minor girl at a hotel. “Around 2 days ago we received complaint from a Russian tourist that she was staying in Arambol and someone molested her minor daughter. A case u/s 376 (rape) IPC and POCSO Act was registered, accused has been identified as Ravi Ramani, a room boy in same hotel,” the SP said. “After the incident, he absconded but immediately a team was formed. He was located in Karnataka's Gadag district. The accused was apprehended and has been placed under arrest. Further investigation into the case is ongoing. We've also uploaded his name to sexual offenders list,” he added.
