India-US Negotiations Back On Track As Trump Upbeat On Trade Talks

United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that Washington and New Delhi will resume negotiations to resolve trade barriers between the two nations. Taking to his social media platform Truth Social, Trump noted that he looks forward to speaking with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the coming weeks. Referring to Modi as his “very good friend,” the US President expressed confidence that the discussions will reach a positive conclusion beneficial for both countries. Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing trade tensions, but he underlined the strength of India-US ties and stressed that both nations share a strong and mutually respectful partnership.
