Gyanvapi case: “We will abide by HC’s order; country needs communal harmony,” says ST Hasan

Allahabad High Court ordered the Archaeological Survey of India to conduct a survey of the Gyanvapi Mosque complex in Varanasi on August 03. Reacting to that, Samajwadi Party MP ST Hasan on August 03 said that they would abide by the orders of the court. “We will abide by the orders of the court...Today our country needs communal harmony and national integration. No statement should be made which creates differences between people in the country,” said Hasan.Allahabad High Court dismissed Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee’s plea, challenging the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) survey of the Mosque complex, adjacent to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee had challenged the Varanasi District Judge’s July 21 order.
