Cyclone Ockhi: Alarm sounded in Maharashtra and Gujarat

According to IMD officials, Cyclone Ockhi has moved towards
Maharashtra and Gujarat and expected to bring heavy rainfall. The cyclone
originated near the coast of Sri Lanka and travelled hugging the coasts of
Tamil Nadu and Kerala towards Lakshadweep Cyclone Ockhi so far killed around 19
people in Kerala and Lakshadweep region. State functionaries are on high alert
and precautionary measures have been deployed in coastal regions of both
Guajarat and Maharashtra.
