Hamidullah also spoke about Bangladesh’s democratic ethos, noting public focus on peace, development, and rule of law during recent elections. He paid homage to noted singer Zubeen Garg, recalling his cultural legacy. Representing India, Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh emphasized that bilateral ties are built on the legacy of the Liberation War and remain key to future collaboration.
