Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who was summoned by the CBI to appear before it on Saturday for questioning in connection with the land-for-jobs "scam", skipped the questioning session in New Delhi citing pregnancy of his wife Rajshree Yadav and sought a fresh date. The continuing action against RJD president Lalu Prasad and his family members by the central agencies in the land-for-jobs scandal has started uniting the scattered opposition against the ruling BJP at the Centre ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
