MP Home Minister Mishra denies reports of fines being charged to students who chanted Hanuman Chalisa

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra denied reports of fines being charged to students who chanted Hanuman Chalisa at Vellore Institute of Science and Technology (VIT-Bhopal) on July 08. “No fine will be imposed, we've informed them (college). If Hanuman Chalisa is not chanted in Hindustan, then where? The issue is not what's being presented. Other students had complained due to the noise after Hanuman Chalisa was chanted by. I have ordered the Collector to probe it,” said the Home Minister.
