The United States has evacuated hundreds of sailors from its naval base in Bahrain following Iranian missile and drone strikes, according to an NPR report. The base, which hosts the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, was hit multiple times early in the conflict, damaging several structures. Around 1,500 personnel, along with families, were relocated amid rising security concerns. Additional evacuations at other regional bases have also been reported, though details remain unclear.
