Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl has claimed that the U.S. is waiting for a new Ukrainian leadership before signing a rare-earth minerals deal with Kyiv. She suggested that Washington seeks returns on its Ukraine investments and prefers dealing with weaker states. The revelation follows the tense February 28 meeting between Zelensky and Trump, which ended without a deal. Meanwhile, Europe reaffirmed support for Ukraine, while Russia has offered rare-earth minerals to the U.S.
