2 LPG Tankers Reach Indian Ports, 2 More En Route From Strait Of Hormuz With Huge Cargo
Two Indian-flagged LPG tankers, Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, have successfully arrived in India after navigating the Strait of Hormuz with clearance from Iran, amid heightened regional tensions. Jag Vasant, carrying around 47,000 tonnes of LPG, anchored at Vadinar, while Pine Gas entered Indian waters and is headed to Odisha’s Dhamra port. Both vessels followed a route along the Iranian coastline approved for safe transit. At the same time, additional carriers BW Tyr and BW Elm have begun crossing the strait and are expected to reach Mumbai and New Mangalore shortly. Three other Indian-flagged LPG ships remain stationed near Mina Saqr, awaiting further instructions for safe passage.
