Trump Threatens To ‘Strangle’ Iran Ahead Of Attack, Blackmails India, China With 25% Tariffs

Donald Trump drops a fresh geopolitical bombshell — threatening to economically strangle Iran and punish every nation that dares to do business with Tehran. Just a day after hinting at possible US air strikes on Iran over a bloody crackdown on anti-government protests, Trump has now fired a financial missile at the Islamic Republic. In a Truth Social post, Trump warned that any country doing business with Iran will be slapped with a massive 25% tariff on all trade with the United States — escalating Washington’s pressure campaign to a new level. India now finds itself directly in the crosshairs. New Delhi is among Iran’s top five trading partners, exporting critical food grains, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods — and importing key petroleum and chemical products. Trump’s new Iran-linked tariff threat piles on top of already imposed US tariffs related to Russian oil purchases, raising alarm bells across India’s trade and diplomatic corridors.
