'Ready For Invasion': Iran FM Araghchi Dares Trump To Launch Ground Assault As Fighting Escalates

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of Iran, has firmly denied reports that Tehran is in contact with the United States to negotiate a ceasefire amid the escalating regional conflict. His remarks came after U.S. President Donald Trump suggested he should play a role in choosing Iran’s next Supreme Leader. Araghchi dismissed the claims of backchannel talks and instead highlighted Iran’s military readiness following joint strikes carried out by the U.S. and Israel earlier in the conflict. Araghchi also stressed that Iran’s armed forces are now better prepared for future scenarios, warning that Tehran is ready to respond to any escalation — including a potential ground invasion.
