Israel is mourning the loss of three young soldiers killed in a deadly roadside bombing in northern Gaza. The soldiers, all from the Givati Brigade’s Rotem Battalion, were ambushed in the Jabaliya area, marking one of the deadliest incidents since the latest phase of fighting resumed. Among them was 22-year-old Omer Van Gelder, remembered with deep emotion by his unit commander during a moving funeral in Jerusalem.
