The video appears to show twisted metal fragments and wreckage scattered across the shoreline at night. The development comes days after Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency claimed that Iranian air-defence units intercepted and destroyed what it described as an "enemy American-Zionist drone" near Qeshm Island. Iranian outlets say the debris is linked to that operation, though the authenticity of the footage and the identity of the wreckage have not been independently verified. Located near the Strait of Hormuz, Qeshm occupies a critical position overlooking one of the world's most important maritime chokepoints, making every military incident in the area closely watched.
