'Follow This Or...': Iran Shares New Maritime Strait Of Hormuz Map; Trump Reiterates Naval Blockade

The Strait of Hormuz has become the center of a renewed geopolitical standoff as Iran announces a “new maritime order” governing access through the critical waterway. According to Iranian officials, including Ebrahim Azizi, international shipping must now follow Tehran-approved routes, with commercial vessels requiring authorization from the IRGC Navy and payment of designated tolls. A new navigation map reportedly marks restricted and hazardous zones near Oman, shifting traffic closer to Iranian waters. Iranian authorities have also warned that transit permissions could be revoked if external pressure continues, while reinforcing that military vessels remain strictly barred under the current framework.
