The demand for a CBI inquiry into late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death is gaining momentum with each passing day, with bigwigs from all walks of life such as BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, veteran actress Roopa Ganguly, among others, joining the cause. On July 16, SSR's grieving girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, too, requested the same. Amid this growing demand, now, as per latest reports, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said that there is 'no need' for a CBI inquiry in SSR's suicide case as he feels Mumbai Police is competent enough to handle it. The cops are said to be investigating every aspect of the case including professional rivalry. Deshmukh further said that the Mumbai Police do not see any foul play and details of the case will be shared once the investigation is completed.
