Since the arrest of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra's husband and a well-known businessman Raj Kundra in the pornography case, new developments are coming in every day. Now, the Property Cell of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch has summoned actress Sherlyn Chopra in the case and asked her to show up for the questioning. Confirming the same, a news agency has tweeted, 'Property Cell of Mumbai Police Crime Branch has summoned actress Sherlyn Chopra asking her to appear before it for questioning today in connection with the porn film production case in which businessman Raj Kundra was arrested: Mumbai Police.' Earlier, Sherlyn Chopra had filed an FIR against Raj Kundra in April 2019, accusing him of sexual misconduct. She claimed that Raj Kundra kissed her even though she resisted and that he told her that his relationship with his actress-wife Shilpa Shetty was complicated and he was stressed. This year, back in March, the actress had also lodged a complaint about her obscene video being published without her consent and also applied for an anticipatory bail last month that stated, 'The principles of natural justice would entail the applicant to be given a fair and impartial opportunity to appear before the investigation officer without causing prejudice to her and be informed about the case against her or otherwise so as to enable her to cooperate and assist in the probe process without fear of arrest.' Well, she also released an official statement on her Instagram handle about this whole case wherein she revealed that she was the first person to give her statement to the Maharashtra cyber cell. Meanwhile, talking about Raj Kundra, a 45 year old businessman was arrested on July 19 and was booked under relevant sections of IPC, IT acts and the the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. While, he was sent to 14 days of judicial custody on July 28, Mumbai Police are still maintaing that he appears to be a 'key conspirator' in the case.
