Maharashtra bandh hits normal life

Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar called off the state-wide bandh. Earlier in the day, protesters held march in different parts of the state. The locals faced problems as protesters had blocked roads in several areas. Violent clashes broke out after attack on Dalits during Bhima Koregaon battle anniversary in Pune on January 1.

The Embassy of India in Riyadh on Monday clarified that no Indian national was killed after a projectile fell on a residential area in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
