Realme recorded the highest growth in India's wearables market in 2025. According to International Data Corporation's India Monthly Wearable Device Tracker, Realme achieved this feat even as the overall wearables market declined 4.0% year-over-year (YoY) to 114.2 million units, marking its second consecutive annual contraction. The overall market decline was largely due to a 17.6% YoY decline in smartwatch shipments, which totalled 28.9 million. However, the average selling price of the overall wearables market rose 1.8% to $20.3, indicating a trend towards higher-priced devices.
Realme ranked among the top five wearable brands in India in 2025, recording 27.8% YoY growth and a 6.2% share of the overall wearables market. In the TWS segment, the brand ranked fifth, growing 26.3% YoY and capturing a 7.3% market share.
Noise leads in smartwatches, while Nothing ranked top in TWS
In the smartwatch category, Noise (Nexxbase) led with a 26.6% market share, followed by Boat (Imagine Marketing) at 14.1% and Fire-Boltt at 9.7%. In TWS, Nothing (including CMF) posted 91.5% YoY growth, while OPPO (including OnePlus) grew 38.2%, both benefiting from stronger ecosystem integration and wider channel presence.
Boat further consolidated its position in the overall wearables market, increasing its share by 27.6% to 29.2%.
Its presence is seen in true wireless, tethered, and over-the-ear segments. The earwear segment offered some comfort, increasing by 1.4% YoY to 84.7 million units.
The over-the-ear headphones segment saw significant YoY growth, rising 65.4% to 7.4 million units, driven by the need for hybrid work and premium listening experiences. Smart glasses also started to show some signs of traction, with shipments increasing from a small base, led by Lenskart, Meta, and Fire-Boltt.
Offline retail continued to gain ground, expanding its share from 37.8% to 40.7%, while the online channel declined 8.4% YoY.
