UP: Municipal Corporation of Moradabad launches unique initiative to manage plastic waste

In a bid to maintain cleanliness, the Municipal Corporation of Moradabad came up with a unique initiative to tackle plastic waste. The Municipal Corporation has issued guidelines for shopkeepers to label plastic packets and collect money. However, once they return the waste they get the money. It has been launched so that people don’t throw away plastic waste. Municipal Corporation’s initiative has garnered praise from residents of the city.
