Eid Mubarak: People celebrate Eco-friendly Eid, cut cake with goat image

India is celebrating Bakrid today by offering sacrifice, a custom going on since years. But this year people in Lucknow are celebrating an Eco-friendly Bakrid by cutting cakes with a goat image instead of a real goat. Preparations for Bakrid began days before the festival and buyers line-up to buy the best goat to offer as sacrifice. Eid-al-Adha marks the end of Hajj pilgrimage also known as one one of five pillars of Islam.
