Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a stark warning to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following U.S. strikes on Iran’s Kharg Island. The IRGC said it considers American military hideouts and infrastructure in the UAE as “legitimate targets” if attacks against Iran continue. According to Iranian media reports, the IRGC urged residents in the UAE to stay away from ports, docks and areas where U.S. forces may be present, warning that these locations could become targets in potential retaliatory strikes. The warning comes after footage shared by U.S. President Donald Trump purportedly showed American strikes on Kharg Island, a key Iranian oil export hub that handles nearly 90 percent of the country’s crude shipments.
