Guntur's Jinnah tower painted in colours of the National Flag, Tricolour also hoisted atop

Guntur's Jinnah tower that was at the centre of controversy over its name has now been painted in colours of the National Flag. A Tiranga has also been hoisted atop the tower by the local YSRCP MLA and his supporters. This development comes days after members of a Hindu group were arrested as they tried to put a Tricolour atop the tower. BJP leaders want the Jinnah Tower to be renamed after any Indian freedom fighter.
