Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has made a startling claim. He accused Delhi minister Satyendar Jain of extorting Rs 10 crore in the name of 'protection' inside Tihar Jail. In a letter to the Delhi LG VK Saxena on October 7, Sukesh claimed to have known Jain since 2015. Chandrashekhar further says that he has so far paid Rs 10 crore to Jain and Rs 12.50 to DG prison Sandeep Goel. Jain, who held a jail portfolio in Delhi, is lodged in Tihar jail in connection with a money laundering case. Conman Sukesh's claim has rattled the Aam Admi Party. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that Sukesh's claims are an attempt to divert attention from the Morbi incident.
