MCD mayors protest outside CM Kejriwal’s residence

The mayors of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), staged protest, outside the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on October 26. They are protesting over the non-payment of salaries of the employees of the municipal corporation. “Either call us in or we'll sit here in protest. We won't move from here,” said North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Mayor Jai Prakash. “Our men are working against air pollution, when they ask about their salaries to us in this festive season, we are just giving them assurance for the name sake,” said SDMC’s Mayor Anamika.
