TV host Syamala, husband Narasimha Reddy join YSRCP; she gets trolled for her choice

Popular TV host Syamala along with husband Narasimha Reddy joined YSR Congress Party a few days ago. She was reportedly trolled online for joining the party. YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy welcomed the celebrity couple into the party at his residence in Hyderabad. Interacting with media later, Syamala said she has always been an admirer of Jagan Mohan Reddy and his vision for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Narasimha added that they are happy to serve the society following the footsteps of Jagan. Syamala further revealed that they shall soon be campaigning for the party. The ex-Bigg Boss Telugu 2 contestant took to her Instagram to share the same. Syamala is one of the popular TV personalities, who didn't make any controversy so far. But this decision has taken a section of her fan world by shock. She is being trolled for her foray into politics and joining YSRCP as well. While some found fault with her decision to back Jagan, others called her political debut too 'ambitious'. A section of netizens welcomed her decision though. The ace TV host got close to the masses with her stint in the second edition of Bigg Boss Telugu hosted by Nani. On the other hand, Narasimha Reddy shot to fame with Karthika Deepam in which he is seen playing 'Durga'. He is also playing a pivotal role in the recently launched show Meenakshi.Besides Syamala, Ali tho Saradaga host Ali has recently joined YSRCP ahead of polls in Andhra Pradesh.
