Bigg Boss Telugu 3: From being a shrewd contestant to a doting wife, highlights of Vithika Sheru’s journey in the show

Model-turned-actress Vithika Sheru has earned fame with Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 like never before. Vithika and husband Varun Sandesh were the first celebrity couple of the Bigg Boss Telugu TV series.

From being a shrewd contestant to a doting wife, Vithika had an eventful journey in the BB house and here’s a quick look at a few highlights of her stint in the house.

Vithika’s dispute with Mahesh was one of the major incidents during her initial days in the house where she was dubbed to be ‘manipulative’. She claimed that Mahesh was rude to her. Varun Sandesh involved in the argument which eventually snowballed into a major fight in the house. Host Nagarjuna had to settle the issue in the weekend episode.

Right from their first fight involving Punarnavi to the secret task when Varun had to pour coffee on her, Vithika had enough fights with husband Varun in the house. Varun accused Vithika of being possessive and reminded her that they are not on honeymoon. However, they patched up within no time.

Ravikrishna was one of her good friends in the house. He was one of the few contestants who stood by Vithika when she had a fight with Varun. However, things were never the same after the Dongaludochina Nagari task. Ravi and Vithika had differences during the task and their opinions on each other eventually changed so much that Ravi walked out of the house with complaints over her.

Vithika shared a love-hate relationship with Punarnavi, her bestie in the house. Right from difference of opinions about kitchen duties to supporting Rahul, the BFFs managed to find ways to patch up despite their differences and disputes.

Vithika and Rahul shared a sibling bond and there were instances she backed the latter unconditionally. But their relationship took a serious beating with the Atta-Kodallu task which witnessed a major fight between Rahul, Varun wherein Vithika was one of the key triggers. Towards the end of her journey, Vithika and Rahul were not on talking terms.

While she claimed that Rahul is faking and distancing himself from her and Varun, Rahul reiterated that he has the same affection for her.

Vithika found her way to win the prestigious ‘Battle of Medallion’ by pushing Baba Bhaskar off the rickshaw. This unexpected move raised many eyebrows. But Vithika was appreciated for her understanding of the task and shrewd gameplay. She stood for herself despite criticism over her smart move. The medallion gave her immunity from eviction for one week.

Varun strived and successfully managed to save Himaja from nominations in the telephone booth task. However, Vithika nominated Himaja for eviction using her special power as a captain of the house. Varun had to stand by Vithika’s decision that scraped his sacrifice and Himaja got eliminated from the show that week.

Vithika is one of the luckiest contestants in the house. In one of the most complicated tasks, Vithika got lucky to meet her brother in the house. She later went on to meet her sister Krithika, Varun’s grandmother Rajyalakshmi and got to speak with her mother Anantha Lakshmi as well. When the competition was tough, Vithika survived the nomination by using her medallion.

Vithika tried to evade nomination by convincing Varun to sacrifice his third position for her in the previous week’s nomination task. However, Siva Jyothi kept arguing with her for the 3rd rank until Bigg Boss directly nominated all the contestants for eviction. Vithika eventually got eliminated due to lack of enough votes to survive in the house. She mentioned that Siva Jyothi is one of the key reasons behind her elimination.
