Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases, and dealing with a diagnosis is a journey in itself, let alone gathering the strength to fight it. However, these TV celebrities, who got their cancer diagnosis, not only beat the disease, but continued with their work like a boss. From Hina Khan to HH, here are some TV stars who beat the disease and persevered through.

Known for her roles in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Bigg Boss’, and many others, Hina Khan is someone who has fought cancer in the industry. The actress revealed that she had stage 3 breast cancer in 2024, and since then, actively shared updates about her everyday life. From getting treatment to losing her hair because of the side effects, Khan remained candid about everything and persevered. Despite everything, she continues with her work and has continuously attended and performed at events.

TV star Dipika Kakar shared that she was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer last year. She also mentioned that the tests revealed that she has an 11 cm malignant tumor as well. The actress kept everyone updated online about her health, and in June last year, she underwent a 14-hour surgery to remove the tumor, as well as parts of her liver and gallbladder. After getting another surgery for a cyst, Kakar, with her partner Shoaib Ibrahim by her side, has been continuing her oral treatment and has managed to balance her work responsibilities as well.

Bendre is a prominent actress who has worked in both TV and cinema. She was diagnosed with high-grade metastatic cancer. The actress remained positive throughout the process and went to New York in order to get the treatment that she needed. Along with all of this, she also handled her work opportunities like a boss and balanced everything. As of right now, Bendre is free of cancer and regularly appears on TV shows as a judge.

In February 2022, Raghave, who is best known for his stint in ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’, shared that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer. Throughout his cancer journey, the actor remained positive and actively kept his fans updated about his health and recovery journey. He bravely fought the cancer for 3 years after his diagnosis and passed away because of complications related to the disease on June 2, 2025. He was 37 years old at the time.

A revered name in both television and cinema, Kher has also fought her own battle with a cancer diagnosis. In 2021, it was reported that the actress had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The actress continued to work even while she was battling the disease and getting treatment for it, which had extensive side effects on her. Through all of this, Kher managed to come out stronger at the other end of the tunnel. While the disease is lifelong, the actress continues to fight it, all the while balancing her professional and personal life.

Mittal shared her diagnosis of cancer in 2022. She revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer after she got an MRI due to a gym injury. In a social media post talking about her diagnosis, the actress had written, "It’s a pull-up injury which technically saved my life. Before the reports came, I was scared. I didn’t want cancer... but once you get it, you have to deal with it." That same year, she underwent lumpectomy and reconstruction surgery, which was successful and declared her cancer-free. Even through all of this, she was active on social media and was keeping up with her work commitments as well.
