From being a sportsman to doing theatre: A look at the lesser known facts of ‘Mrs Mukhyamantri’ actor Tejas Barve

Tejas Barve is a Marathi film and television actor who is well known for his performance in the film ‘Girlfriend’ and TV show ‘Zindagi Not Out’. Tejas shot to fame with his successful TV show ‘Mrs. Mukhyamantri’.

‘Mrs Mukhyamantri’ was popular within a brief time due to a fresh casting and Tejas Barve was one of them. In the show, Tejas plays the interesting character of Samar Singh Patil who is aspires to become a chief minister. Samar and Sumi are one of the most adorable on-screen couples on Marathi TV.

Tejas Barve was born and brought up in Pune. Having done his schooling from MSG School, Pune, Tejas completed his graduation from S.P. College in Commerce. He loves acting and cricket. His love for cricket was evident in the show ‘Zindagi Not Out’ wherein he played the character of a passionate cricketer.

Not many know that Tejas is a hardcore sportsman. He made his TV debut with ‘Zindagi Not Out’ in 2017 where he played the character of Sachin and won accolades. Pic- Instagram
