Mazha Thorum Munpe: Everything about the Nikitha-Rahul starrer

Joycee's story, Nikitha Rajesh's comeback to Malayalam, and the serial adaptation of the hit novel, 'Mazha Thorum Munpe,' started off with the weight of huge expectation. But, over the 200 episodes, the show has managed to live up to the expectation and continues to be one of the top-rated shows on Malayalam TV.

The storyline

Mazha Thorum Munpe deals with the life of Aleena, a young girl who was brought up in an orphanage. But, one fine day, she learns about her biological mother, Vaijayanthi, and she goes in search of her. Aleena ends up being the home nurse at her mother's home, faces too many hardships, and still manages to be there just to be around her mother. Destiny was kind to her; she finds the love of her life, Manu, there, and he becomes her solace.

The serial is the adaptation of popular novelist Joycee's novel, which came in 242 issues in one of the leading weekly's in Malayalam.

The twist

The major twist in the show happened when Vaijayanthi's husband, Balan, learns about Aleena. Though he was initially shattered, Balan took a different way to take revenge on his wife. Though Vaijayanthi doesn't know the truth yet, Balan starts showing his love for Aleena, and this keeps triggering Vaijayanthi.

The star cast

The star cast of the show is already winning hearts. Actress Nikitha Rajesh, who started off her career as a child artist, has already left a lasting impression among fans as Aleena. Her striking chemistry with Rahul Suresh is also much loved by fans. Vaishnavi Saikumar as Vaijayathi and Kishor as Balan are often hailed to be the perfect casting in the show. Along with them, the show has Keziah Thomas, Roslin, Maneesha KS, Nitha Promy, and others in lead roles.
