‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ January 3 written update: Abhira leads the Poddar family as Armaan prepares for Meher’s case

Saturday’s episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ started with Abhira and Dadi Sa. Abhira fed Dadi Sa as Manisha came into the room to take the BP machine for her husband. Doing well on Armaan’s request, Abhira manages the household well.Kajal expresses concern over her husband, Sanjay, not taking up a case due to fear of losing it. Abhira then provides her support and reassures her that things will get better and that Sanjay will take up the case as she will take care of the matter. Abhira then visits Armaan at his office and lovingly covers him with a blanket as he has fallen asleep on his desk. At Kiara’s home, puja processions are underway. While everyone sings along to the bhajans, Kiara is seen listening to them on her phone to keep up. Seeing this, Chachi Ma again taunts her for not being able to sing along to the bhajans like everyone else. The sequence shifts to Abhira managing the entire household, taking care of everyone’s needs. Not only that, but she also regularly visits Armaan at his office with food and a change of clothes. She ensures that he does not have to focus on anything other than Meher’s case itself. In the next scene, Abhira takes Armaan’s mother to the office, hoping that it will cheer him up to see her there. Vidya, however, pulls Abhira away before she can reach the office door. She requests that she put more focus on Dadi Sa, whose health has been affected by the recent incidents and Krish’s mistakes. She further urges her to support everyone, as they are all losing hope because of the law firm’s deal. She shares that Armaan needs to focus on the case fully to win it in court.Abhira receives a new case and heads to the court, and decides to tell Armaan about it later. As she is heading to work, a woman comes up to her and requests her to take up her case and represent her in court. Not feeling sure about the matter, Abhira refuses but offers to give her details of other good lawyers that she can talk to. Without talking to Abhira or taking her contact details, the woman leaves. It is revealed that the unnamed woman was one of Meher’s many victims; however, she had refused to reveal her identity to Abhira.The preview for the next episode plays out, showing Armaan and all of the family members celebrating as he wins the case. Meher is declared innocent in court and is granted bail based on the ruling. While everyone is seen rejoicing, Abhira receives a mysterious phone call from an unknown number. The person on the other end tells her that Armaan made a mistake and that he has lost the case. This phone call leaves Abhira worried about what is happening.
