We miss meeting friends in these COVID times, but safety comes first, say TV celebs

We spoke to television actors about how they are coping with this new normal and here's what they had to say...

Maharashtra has become the hub of COVID-19 cases, especially Mumbai. The restrictions are back to help authorities get a grip over the situation which is getting out of control. Those who loved socialising are naturally affected with life has changed over the past one year and more so now again.

Sharad Malhotra

I miss the socialising, espcecially going to homes of my friends. I am not meeting too many people in the current scenario because rules and regulations have been stated by the BMC and the government which have to be followed. Even at home, a group of five from outside is avoidable. Being alive and following precautions is more important than having a party. Jaan hai toh jahan hai.

Munisha Khatwani

I miss hanging out with my friends but I have not been meeting them due to the COVID situation. Apart from the curfew, I think it's responsible and sensible that we maintain social distancing and don't meet people. I am sure there are many more years to celebrate and hopefully next year should be a much brighter and happier year. And then we all really be in a genuine mood to party.

Mohit Daga

Sometimes I like the crowded feel at places which is now not possible. Meeting all my friends at one place was such a good idea, it was great to see happy smiling faces and having snacks together. It used to be so much fun. Yes I miss all that, but can't help it now.

5/7

Aarvika Gupta

Since the beginning, I have never liked going to crowded places. Meeting my friends at home is something I have been doing. That is why I am not missing the days of going out in crowded places.

Mrunal Jain

I do like to attend gatherings where I get to meet friends, so I miss chilling out and drinking mojito with friends. The vibes of a social gathering are unique and attending parties used to be fun in the pre-COVID era. But it's come to a halt now and we will have to wait for things to get better.

7/7

Prashant Bajaj

I like get-togethers with friends at home. I love to go to kirtans too and I am missing going to a kirtan but that's not possible because people come in large numbers there. We will have to wait for sometime now.
