Vivian Dsena gets candid about not lifting the Bigg Boss 18 trophy, says 'Jeeta toh main hi hoon, bas trophy wasn't in my destiny'

Vivian Dsena and his wife Nouran Aly recently had a candid podcast with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. In the conversation, the actor shared details on his journey with Bigg Boss 18, bonding with co-contestants, and more. Here's what Vivian and Nouran had to share:

2/10

Housemates would search for me to give tadka to the dishes

I have been cooking for a very long time and even in the Bigg Boss house, I used to cook because I didn't like the taste so much so to enhance it I would go and add my own tadka. Later, the housemates would search for me to give tadka to the dishes. I would just give tadka to the dal and all and all of them would be like 'Vivian kya khana banaya hai', they would forget who was cooking and compliment me.

3/10

His take on being called the laadla

Honestly, everyone thought that they were calling me laadla so there was a perception that because I was the laadla, I was receiving more preferences in the house. I had asked everyone in the whole season what preferences I had. Was it coffee? Other contestants were also receiving soy milk, almond milk and all for the vegan eaters, their lactose intolerance was taken care of. But my coffee got highlighted so it became the talk. There were bottles of coffee coming in the ration. The only thing was that I used to brew my coffee so it became a highlight in the house.

4/10

Vivian would solve fights instead of escalating

I would solve the fights in the house, I know I was going against the content but I would sit with the housemates and solve the fights as well. Avinash was even complaining that I was constantly solving the fights. As soon as a fight would happen I would go and solve it between them. So there was not much content coming from my end as I wouldn't escalate the matter.

5/10

Nouran's biggest complaint from Vivian in Bigg Boss 18

Nouran's biggest complaint was that I wasn't replying to the fights in the Bigg Boss house. And I used to ignore people in the house, there were times they would come to fight with me and I would ignore them. They had even made an issue about this that I would end the matter in one line and ignore. They had even told 'isko office jana hai, iske paas time nahi hai.' A lot of people told me that I changed the format, I was playing opposite the format.

6/10

Vivian's take on Chahat and Rajat

Chahat and Nouran have become friends. According to Nouran, Chahat is an innocent girl. I had fights with her in the house, during family week Nouran and Chahat became close friends. After that, we became good friends. Rajat shares a brotherly bond with Nouran, it feels that Rajat was misunderstood. I have always been misunderstood all my career. Professionally, you have to keep limitations and you need to behave according to the social decorum.

7/10

Vivian: Dil ki baat bolne se darr lagta hai

The house was like that where your emotions are already at a high. You feel much deeper inside as you don't have anyone to talk to or there isn't any distraction. And even in the house, it is scary whether you open up to someone and in the next fight they would use it against you. Baat karne se darr lagta hai, dil ki baat bolne se bhi darr lagta hai.

8/10

On his bond with Eisha and Avinash

Eisha and I would talk, we were in the same gang, Eisha and Avinash. The other were in Karan's team. I had my simple funda, na kisi se dosti na kisi se bair. Some of them tried to manipulate, but things didn't happen. Even when they brought up my family in between, I chose to ignore them and do what was right for me.

9/10

Jeeta toh main hi hoon

Jeeta toh main hi hoon, dil toh Maine hi jeete hai. See the trophy wasn't in my destiny but I have won many hearts. Maybe it was written for Karan to win Bigg Boss. When I came out of the house, I never anticipated that so many fans nationally and internationally showered love. There was a massive fanbase waiting for me. I feel that if you impact someone's heart then you get the biggest success.

10/10

Vivian on staying loyal to the channel and doing limited work

Everybody told me that I could have used the ‘laadla’ tag to my benefit and have an upper hand, but that was unfair in my eyes. The reason why I am perceived as ‘Colors Laadla’ is because I have worked with only one network for years. At every peak I had, a lot of people came to me with offers. One network had come to me asking me to leave Colors. But that channel has made me and if they offer me a show, I will not give preference to other channels. My only fight with them has been about bringing different concepts so that it doesn’t get boring. This is why I do limited work, but all of them are hits. I prefer being honest with my work and my audience.
