The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Kapil Sharma cracks a hilarious punch as he asks AR Rahman this question; watch
The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4 has delivered hilarious episodes back-to-back with famous Bollywood and sports personalities. The recent episodes have been graced by celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Rani Mukerji, Ananya Panday, India's women cricket team, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, and Virendra Sehwag, to name a few. Now, for the upcoming episode, Kapil Sharma will be seen welcoming Vijay Sethupathi, A.R. Rahman, Aditi Rao Hydari aur Siddharth Jadhav.
Vijay Sethupathi will make his first appearance on Kapil’s couch and will be seen blending into the fun with his calm charm. On the other hand, A.R. Rahman once again proves why his presence speaks volumes with just a few words.
The official Instagram account of the streaming platform dropped a promo from the upcoming episode where Kapil is spotted joking about AR Rahman's deserved personality.
He jokes that when he heard about this film, Rahman sir might have wondered, “Aap thode confuse ho gaye the ki yeh aapko playback singer ke liye sign karna chahte the… ya actor ke liye.” Rahman smiles and the audience fills in the laughter. Kapil highlights how Rahman remains calm and composed all the time.
The fun really kicks in when the guests take part in the Headphone Challenge, as the stage fills with confusion, funny guesses, and lots of laughter. Next we see in the promo, Kapil Sharma asking Vijay Sethupathi if he follows cricket, to which the actor said he doesn’t watch the sport. Kapil then went on to ask if he knows Navjot Singh Sidhu. Vijay quickly replied with a smile, “Yes, Sidhu sir.” When Kapil asked where he had seen Sidhu, Vijay casually said, “In cricket,” leaving everyone on the set laughing.
Kapil takes the comedy quotient a notch higher as he asks Aditi Rao Hydari about her marital status. He asks her if she is married. After Aditi replied with a 'yes', Kapil cracked a punch, “Why?” and quickly changed it to, “Wow.” This leaves everyone in splits of laughter.
Soon music takes centre stage and the audience gets a surprise with a fresh, fun take on “Humma Humma”, as A.R. Rahman and Sunil Grover as Diamond Raja vibe to the ‘Slowly Slowly’ track.
