The 50: From a royal entrance to classy bedrooms- A glimpse of the house where the contestants are going to stay

The 50 has unveiled its grand Mahal, a striking and immersive palace that sets the tone for a game driven by power, strategy, and survival. Designed as a world of its own, the Mahal is not just a backdrop but a living space that influences how players think, act, and compete from the moment they step inside.

The Den

Above the palace, stairways stretch on both sides toward the Lion’s Den, a powerful representation of ruling authority that surveys the entire realm below. The Mahal is filled with statues and architectural elements that represent the jungle’s pecking order, with the lion as the supreme ruler. It is meant to create the perception that one is entering the “Jungle Ruler’s Mahal,” where power is always present and never absent.

3/7

The classy design

The core element in this design is the main Mahal, which serves as a space for both tranquillity and conflict, boasting six beautifully designed rooms, three seating areas, and a swing that provides occasional moments of respite between gameplay.

4/7

The three zones

The palace is spread across three interconnected regions, each defining a different phase of the game. It includes three regions- the Courtyard, the Arena, and the Mahal. The Courtyard houses the Danger Zone, where threats and challenges enter the picture. The Arena is the action hub and acts as a battleground where contestants compete in matches and challenges that push their physical and mental abilities to the limit.

The bedrooms

Bringing together Rajasthan’s architectural richness and modern design sensibilities, the set has been created as a fully immersive experience. Every corner of the house serves the narrative of the game, ensuring that the palace itself becomes an active force in shaping rivalries, alliances, and outcomes. The bedrooms are just as royal and beautiful as everything else.
