Splitsvilla X6’s Akanksha Choudhary opens up about her weight loss journey and how she healed her PCOD; says, “Went from 75 to 56 kgs”
Dating reality show Splitsvilla X6 has been winning hearts since the very start. Fans are enjoying the reality show and are rooting for their favourites. Akanksha Choudhary has been one of the most loved contestants on the show so far. She recently shared a post talking about her weight loss journey.
She shared a video of her drastic transformation and mentioned how she was dealing with PCOD. Akanksha further revealed that she went from 75 to 56 kgs in a span of 1.5 years. Fans praised her journey in the comment section.
The post read, “MY PCOD HEALING JOURNEY & WHAT REALLY WORKED FOR ME. I struggled with PCOD for years weight gain, skin issues, mood swings, all of it. But here’s exactly what truly changed my life. I started walking every single day. Even just 30 minutes made a huge difference. I aimed for 10,000 steps daily (or at least 8,000), and it helped regulate my cycle while also boosting my mood.”
She further said, “I completely cut out outside, processed, and junk food. If I ever felt like overeating, I chose to overeat home-cooked meals instead, and that made a big difference to my hormones. Sleep became non-negotiable. Getting 7–8 hours of quality sleep kept my cortisol levels in check and reduced cravings and stress. I focused on slow and steady weight loss. I went from 75 kg to 56 kg in 1.5 years no crash diets, just consistency and patience.”
Akanksha concluded by saying, “Most importantly, I learned to respect and love my body. Your body is fighting a bigger battle than you think. Be patient and be kind to yourself healing truly takes time. Save this if you’re on your PCOD journey.”
