Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi passes away at 46: Industry mourns his sudden demise; a look at his works on television, family photos and more

'Kyu Rishton Mein Katti Batti' actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi’s sudden demise at the age of 46 has left the industry in shock. The actor passed away today (November 11) while working out in the gym. His co-stars in the industry are mourning his untimely and shocking demise. Here’s a look at his works on television, family photos and more.

His debut on TV

Siddhaanth made his television debut with Kkusum. He played the role of Gautam. While it was a cameo role, he went on to do many more shows later. He is known for his role in Mamta, where played the lead role of Akshay Srivastav. The show aired from 2006 to 2007.

His TV journey

Siddhaanth has been a part of several TV shows. After Kkusum, he was seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Vineet Khanna. He played the role of Rohan in Kayaamat, Rahul Malhotra in Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka and more. He has done shows like Waaris, Saat Phere, Mamta, Virrudh, Kya Dill Mein Hai, Behenein, Bhagyavidhaata and more.

His last works

While Siddhaanth has done many shows on TV, he was last in Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti in the lead role of Kuldeep Chaddha. He was paired opposite Neha Marda. After the show wrapped up, he was seen in Ziddi Dil Maane Na in the role of Major Param Shergill. This was his last show.

His family life

He was married to model, VJ and fashion choreographer Alesia Raut. She is currently the official ramp-walk trainer of Femina Miss India and Miss India Universe pageants. She was a contestant in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 4) hosted by Akshay Kumar. Alesia and Siddhaanth had tied the knot in November 2017. It was second marriage for both of them.

They were parents to two kids. While Alesia had a son from her first marriage, Siddhaanth had a daughter from his previous marriage. Siddhaanth can be seen here as a doting father as he wrote, “Father’s day lunch with my munchkins.. Both of them were into fitness and would post stunning pictures from their holidays. In one of the pictures with Alesia in his arms, Siddhanth wrote, “Plenty of fish in the sea but i caught this one…”

Industry mourns his sudden demise

Celebs like Gautam Rode, Jay Bhanushali and Aly Goni shared heartfelt notes on Siddhaanth’s demise. Everyone is in shock. Gautam Rode tweeted, "Really shocked to have read about Siddhaanth’s passing away. My condolences to friends and family. Om shanti."

Karanvir, Kishwer and many others reacted

Karanvir Bohra tweeted, “This is so so sad and heartbreaking siddhaanthvirsurryavanshi rest in peace brother. Deepest condolences to the family.” Kishwer Merchant wrote, Kya bolu main, this is shocking, numbing and just too sad! Will never forget your loving hugs and warm smiles. RIP Anand. Prayer and strength to the family.”

His first marriage and when he opened up about his divorce

Siddhaanth was married to Ira for 15 years from 2000 to 2015. There were a link up rumour about him and to clarify it, he had opened up about his divorce. In 2016, he had stated that he was upset with the reports but understood it is a part and parcel of a celebrity's life. He further added that he got divorced from his wife a year back and it was a mutual decision.

When he changed his name

Siddhaanth’s original name was Anand Suryavanshi. However, in 2016 he changed his name to Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi. Speaking to BT back then, he said, “Some things are are beyond comprehension. And I happen to tilt towards mysticism a little. I listened to my inner voice when a numerologist advised me to take up a new name. It was awkward for a week, but then I eventually got used to it. In fact, I like it more than my previous one. With the new name, I am waiting for good things to unfold.”
