Pavitra Punia postpones her wedding with US-based businessman after family emergency

Television actress Pavitra Punia, who has been a part of successful shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin and Bigg Boss, was preparing for her wedding in March. However, as per media reports, the wedding has been postponed due to a family emergency. According to a report in Hindustan Times, despite the preparations being in full swing, the wedding has been pushed to the next few months.A source was quoted by the publication that the wedding will not be taking place in March. Pavitra's family took a decision to postpone the wedding by a few months due to the personal loss in the family. Pavitra confirmed the news to the publication and said, "Unfortunately, yes, my wedding has been postponed. I lost my nani in December last year. It was then that my family decided to move the wedding ahead by a few months."She further informed that they haven't finalised the new wedding dates, "The dates haven’t been finalised as of yet, but nothing before August for sure, as we’ve delayed it for a minimum of 6 months. It was unexpected, and we’re trying to cope with it," Pavitra shared.Pavitra announced her engagement in October last year. Earlier this month, she hinted about her wedding plans through an Instagram post. In the post, she described it as a new chapter and shared how she was excited to begin with her partner. The actress was planning to tie the knot in 2025.For the uninitiated, Pavitra Punia has done several TV shows like Naagin 3, Baalveer Returns, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Tenali Rama.
