Aishwarya Khare, currently seen in Dr Aarambhi, says she is happy to be part of a show that focuses on the idea of self-love. She shares, “Not many people get the opportunity to do something like this, especially on television. This show is a love story... it’s basically about self-love.
The actress, who has completed a decade in the industry, feels content with how her journey has shaped up. Rejections, she admits, were a part of the process. “Most of the rejections happened because I wasn’t fitting the part — probably because of my colour. Some people even pointed out my nose. But gradually, that perception changed, and here I am today,” she says, adding, “When your hard work overpowers everything and you continue doing what you love, these things start to fade away. I’m comfortable in my own skin and that’s what matters.”

Talking about television content today, Aishwarya expresses her love for the medium. “I love television and I love what I do, whether it’s a saas-bahu drama or any other genre. There has been a lot of talk about OTT affecting television, but that hasn’t happened. TV continues to grow. I also feel that the content is evolving, and that’s necessary.”
On the personal front, the actress says she feels settled. When asked about marriage, she shares a balanced perspective. “Marriage is not everything. If you’re doing what you love, you’re already settled. My younger sister is getting married, so maybe I’ll think about it in a couple of years. For now, my focus is completely on my career,” says Aishwarya.
