Naman Shaw: Shooting in Georgia in extreme cold was challenging
Actor Naman Shaw, known for his role in Mangal Lakshmi, has returned to India after filming in Georgia. Shaw enjoyed the beautiful city, despite the cold weather.
Actor Naman Shaw, who plays Adit Saxena in the television show Mangal Lakshmi, recently returned to India after completing an international shoot schedule in Georgia. The cast and crew wrapped up the special storyline and flew back to Mumbai after an eventful trip. Speaking about the experience, Shaw shared, “This Georgia trip was actually pending since last year. We were supposed to go, but it didn’t happen then. Luckily, this time it did, and it turned out to be a great trip. The city was gorgeous, especially with the Christmas lights—it looked really beautiful.” The actor admitted the weather was intense but manageable. “It was freezing and windy, but winters are my thing, so I didn’t mind. Shooting in that cold was challenging, though—no caps, no gloves in front of the camera. You really have to concentrate and not look uncomfortable while delivering your shots.” Despite the conditions, the schedule allowed some downtime. “The shoot was quite relaxed, mostly day shifts. We’d pack up by 6 pm, and then it was party time. Urvashi ji and I would explore the city and try local food every evening,” he said. Shaw also mentioned shopping and wine tasting. “I picked up souvenirs for friends and family, and Georgia’s wine was definitely a highlight. Explored wine cellars and tasted quite a few.
