'Mahabharat' actor Arpit Ranka seeks guidance from Premanand Maharaj; Spiritual guru advises him to chant the name of the Lord: 'It will give you strength'
Arpit Ranka, the actor who stood out in his role in ‘Mahabharat,’ has been one of the prolific actors in the television industry. During his recent meeting with the renowned guru, Premanand Maharaj, the actor expressed his discontent and concerns that often take up space in his mind. While he follows spirituality and encourages his children to follow the route, the 42-year-old voiced the negativity that makes him distressed.

Ranka claimed that while he has gotten good roles in the past, the chase for the newer roles concerns him, especially when he thinks about the future of his children. After listening to the issue, the spiritual leader advised him to chant the name of the lord. “If you chant the name of the lord, it will give you strength,” he said, adding that the wishes you demand are too small for the universe. “The Lord created the world without anyone’s help, and continues to nurture it. Your request is very small,” Premanand Maharaj added. Ranka had also mentioned how he is known for playing negative roles on the screen, even if he follows spirituality.

Premanand Maharaj talks about the negative roles

Talking about how Arpit Ranka played villains, the spiritual guru added that whatever roles he played, they were grand. “Jitne bhi yeh khalnayak ke kirdhar hai, yeh sab mahaan tapasvi the. Sadharan nahi the. Jaise ki Ravan, Bhagwaan Shankar ki kattar aaradhya karne wala,” he said, pointing out the strength that was formed due to spiritual discipline. As the conversation continued, Maharaj advised to chant the lord's name during the difficult times, and passionately do the roles to the extent that one should not remember that it’s an acting when the time is due. In addition to ‘Mahabharat,’ Arpit Ranka is known for ‘Radha Krishn,’ ‘Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman,’ ‘Devi Adi Parishakti,’ ‘Chandra Nandini,’ and ‘Swaraj.’
