‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ January 14 written update: Tulsi gets Mihir’s name written in mehendi

The episode begins with the family playing antakshari. As Tulsi finishes her song and gets up to leave, everyone praises her. The boys’ team then starts singing, and Babaji is seen smiling and looking over all of his family happily.

Babaji expresses his wishes for Dev

On the side, a conversation between Parth and Dev ensues as the latter talks about how rich Babaji actually is. Parth, however, dismisses his comments and tells him to focus on the event going on around him.

Babaji pulls Gaurav aside and tells him that he likes Dev. He expresses how he wants Dev and Saloni to get together. Guurav asks him curiously about how he will convince the two of them, as well as how he will bring the topic up with the family. Babaji tells him not to worry, citing that he will bring up the idea at the mehendi ceremony in front of the entire family.

Mehendi ceremony starts, Tulsi gets Mihir’s name written on her hand

The mehendi ceremony starts off with full zeal, and all of the family members enjoy the festivities. As all of the women prep and get mehendi designs on their hands, Tulsi also sits down to get mehendi done. Mihir watches her from afar and tells Taru to go and give a glass of water to her Nani, but not tell her who did it. Taru does as told, and when she is asked about who asked her to give the glass of water, she simply smiles and walks away. Mihir is shown to be happy as he notices that his name is written on Tulsi’s hand.

Shobha watches all of this unfold and thanks Komal for putting her father’s name on her mother’s hand. Tulsi watches her and then tells her that she should not forget the real reason that Tulsi agreed to come here. She reminds her daughter that she is only pretending for the family’s sake and has no other motive to be in Surat. Shobha expresses how she wishes that the two had stayed together. Tulsi tells her that things have changed and that Tulsi no longer has any feelings for Mihir.

Noina taunts Tulsi

On the side, Noina overhears everything and thanks Tulsi for her acting. She still goes on to call her oversmart and tells her that she is trying too hard to save Shanti Niketan. Noina shows Tulsi her hand and spots the discreet M written in her hand. Noina proudly shows off her mehendi and says that it will darken; however, just then, Mihir comes and wipes her hand, removing the mehendi altogether.

Mihir scolds her and points out that they will get caught if Noina keeps up with her habits. Noina says that she is not afraid of anyone here. Tulsi points out that she should control herself and simply enjoy the rest of the festivities.

As the event goes on, Saloni and her friends perform and garner praise from everyone. Saloni even thanks Dev, as he was the one who gave her the idea in the first place. Dev also tells her that he loved watching her perform in front of everyone. The bride and groom also dance, and then the photo session begins.

As one by one, everyone comes in for a photo, Gaurav also calls Mihir and Tulsi over. The two hesitate before going up on stage after Babaji also starts requesting them. Noina and Suchi watch on, with the latter commenting about how much praise and love Tulsi is getting from everyone.

Noina comments that everything will fall apart once they know about how Tulsi and Mihir are bound to get divorced. They don’t notice that Kanta Ben overheard their whole conversation. The episode ends as she goes up to Babaji to tell him everything.
