The latest season of Splitsvilla has already created a lot of curiosity among fans because of its contestant lineup and the controversies in the premiere episode. During the opening week, mischief maker Uorfi Javed left everyone shocked when she revealed that she and contestant Niharika Tiwari have a “controversy” outside the show. Ever since, Uorfi made the revelation, social media speculations have been rife that Niharika Tiwari kissed Uorfi Javed’s boyfriend. However, Uorfi recently took to her social media to clarify and stated that the rumours are not fully correct and a similar incident had taken place a year ago.Uorfi said, "Log bol rahe hai that Niharika kissed my boyfriend (People are saying that Niharika kissed my boyfriend). No, that’s not the tea, that is not what had happened. But kuch isi line pe hi hai (But it is somewhat along those lines). There was a guy who was double dating both of us. This was 9-10 years back. So maine pata laga liya tha. Woh ladka bolta tha ke Niharika meri best friend hai, and I was not convinced (So I found out the truth. That guy used to say that Niharika was his best friend, and I wasn’t convinced)." Explaining the entire incident, she said, "Maine uske TikToks dekh liye the. Uss time tiktok tha. Maine uska ghar dekh liya tha, ladke ka, toh maine isko DM kiya. The main issue was Mili, and then I broke up with that guy. And then uss ladke ne isse breakup kiya, and she got mad, and she called me, and she was like, ‘yeah yeah yeah,’ yahi sab drama hua tha, but it was like really long back, 9-10 years back. (I had seen his TikTok videos back then, when TikTok was popular. I even saw the guy’s house, so I messaged him. The main issue was Mili, after which I broke up with that guy. Later, he also broke up with her, which upset her. She then called me and created a lot of drama. But all of this happened a very long time ago, around 9–10 years back.)"For the uninitiated, during one of the episodes, Uorfi slammed Niharika Tiwari. She told Karan Kundrra and Sunny Leone that they have a long history. The contestants asked about the same, but Uorfi said she would reveal it later.Earlier, Niharika Tiwari dismissed the claims and clarified that she did not kiss Uorfi Javed’s boyfriend. In an Instagram story, she wrote, "So apparently everyone’s suddenly very invested in my life purpose, my life choices, and the imaginary documentary titled ‘Inside Niharika’s Life.’"She further mentioned, “Everyone wants the tea – who did what, what happened, who hurt whom…honestly, it’s quite the production.
