Kaun Banega Crorepati 17: Host Amitabh Bachchan praises Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni; says 'Is duniya mein kaun unka bada fan nahi hai'
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 began with rollover contestant Nipun Sharma from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. In the previous episode, he had already used two lifelines on the very first question for Rs 5,000.
The question was, “Which of these animals has tusks?” Nipun asked host Amitabh Bachchan about the meaning of “tusk,” to which Big B replied that he was the one who needed to answer it. Looking confused, Nipun used two lifelines—Sanket Suchak and 50-50, before finally choosing Option D) Elephant. Later, he told Amitabh Bachchan that he was completely awestruck by the experience of being on the show. Big B resumed the game with Nipun in the new episode and presented the question for Rs 25,000. In which series does Manoj Bajpayee play intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari? Nipun selects Option A) The Family Man.
The contestant faces the next question for Rs 50,000. In honour of which cricketer did the BCCI retire the number 7 jersey? Nipun confidently answers Option B) MS Dhoni.
While explaining the answer, Mr Bachchan praises Dhoni and calls him 'Adbhut' khiladi. When Nipun mentions that he is a die-hard Dhoni fan, Amitabh Bachchan says, "Is Duniya Mein Kaun unka bada fan nahi hai ye bataye."
Host Amitabh Bachchan discusses Nipun's life as a student and the latter narrates hilarious stories from his hostel life. He reveals that he was expelled from the hostel because of antics.

For the question of Rs 1,00,000, Nipin uses the lifeline 'Audience Poll'. Which inventor who helped develop the incandescent light bulb was called the Wizard of Menlo Park? He selects the most voted Option C) Thomas Alva Edison.
Moving ahead in the game, Nipin faces the question for Rs 3,00,000. Makrana marble that was used to construct the Taj Mahal, is named after a place in which state? As Nipin is not aware of the answer, he decides to quit the show. Before leaving the game show, he makes a guess and selects Option D) Madhya Pradesh but it turns out to be an incorrect answer. The correct answer is Option B) Rajasthan.
Nipin takes home Rs 2,00,000.
