Kashish Kapoor reacts to Digvijay Singh Rathee and Rajat Dalal’s physical fight; says, “It’s illegal to hit someone like that”

Reality show The 50 has been winning hearts with its fun and entertaining episodes. Fans are enjoying the show and are rooting for their favourite contestants. A new promo of the show was recently unveiled, where Rajat Dalal and Digvijay Singh Rathee got into an aggressive fight. Rajat was even seen hitting Digvijay. Kashish Kapoor has now reacted to the same and slammed Rajat.


A video of Kashish Kapoor interacting with the paps has been circulating on social media, where she spoke about the situation. She said, “Abhi episode release nahi hua hai, but definitely jitna trailer se bhi dikha, kahin pe bhi violence ko example ke taur par use kiya jaana absolutely wrong hai. First of all toh yeh illegal hai. Aur mujhe yeh samajh nahi aata ki kuch illegal karne pe ek baar bhi sochta nahi hai, chijhak bhi nahi hai, itni aasaani se kisi pe haath utha rahe ho, woh bhi on TV. And particularly, yeh cheez teesri baar ho rahi hai. Yeh janta ki problem hai, this is the audience’s fault.”




She further shared, “Kyunki audience ko na kalesh chahiye, unko bada maza aata hai bolne mein. Phir woh humanity angle ya emotions nahi dekhte. Woh yeh nahi dekh rahe ki unke entertainment ya drama ke liye kisi aur ko kya jhelna padta hai. Abhi kuch log is cheez ko criticize karenge, but if they genuinely feel ki jo hua hai galat hua hai, then they should stop promoting and actually stop engaging with this. But audience peeche nahi hategi, toh koi bhi channel apna TRP kyun khoyega? Channel ko pata hai audience dekhegi, 100 percent, 100 percent. Toh phir logon ko bolna chahiye. People should speak up.”


The episode hasn’t been released yet, but from whatever we’ve seen in the trailer, using violence in any form is absolutely wrong. First of all, it’s illegal. What I don’t understand is how someone doesn’t even think twice or hesitate before raising their hand on another person—especially on television. And this has happened for the third time now. This is a problem with the public—this is the audience’s fault. The audience wants conflict; they enjoy the chaos and the drama. They don’t look at the humanitarian or emotional angle. They don’t see what another person has to go through just for their entertainment. Some people will criticize this now, but if they genuinely feel that what happened was wrong, then they should stop promoting it and stop engaging with such content altogether. But if the audience doesn’t step back, why would any channel risk its TRP? The channel knows the audience will watch—one hundred percent. So people need to speak up.
