Gaurav Khanna's father slams Farrhana Bhatt for her disrespectful comment: 'I might have even slapped'

Gaurav Khanna, the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 19,’ took home the bejeweled trophy and a hefty cash prize. Along with him, the actor’s father has expressed pride in his career as a renowned television actor. Thus, he also pointed out how the ‘Bigg Boss 19’ contestants had crossed the line after a couple of them questioned his son's career and his work.

Gaurav Khanna's father expresses his disappointment

Chronicling the fights, Vinod Khanna, Gaurav's father, claimed that some of the people were aggressive and mocked the 44-year-old actor in a demeaning manner. “There were also contestants like Zeishan Quadri and Abhishek Bajaj, who were very aggressive, and there were many fights between them and Gaurav,” he said in a conversation with IANS, before adding, “But I knew Gaurav would manage things on his own, because inside that house, no one can help you; you must stand for yourself.” Moreover, he highlighted the comments made by Farrhana Bhatt, who holds the position of being the first runner-up.


Stating that she called him ‘superstar’ in a mocking manner, Khanna continued that she questioned his work and career as a TV actor. “At that moment, even Gaurav’s anger was visible; his throat veins were popping. If I had been there, I don’t know what I would have done. I might have even slapped Farhana,” Khanna added.

Meanwhile, Vinod Khanna was seemingly proud of how his son played in the season, prioritizing strategies and calmness. Initially, when there were fights going on in the season, he could not understand why the ‘Anupamaa’ actor was getting involved. However, when Gaurav meddled and handled the situation with grace, he felt proud of the actor’s strength and maturity.

On December 7, 2025, Gaurav Khanna was declared the winner in a perfect edge-of-the-seat moment, while Bhatt was crowned as the first runner-up. Being a part of the Top 3, Pranit More was announced as second runner-up, while Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik grabbed third and fourth runner-up positions, respectively.
