Social media sensation and Tajik singer Abdu Rozik, who is currently making headlines for his journey in Bigg Boss 16, has had his own struggles. The singer has been pretty open about his struggles and has several times revealed that he might be a famous personality today but there were times when he had no money at all. The Bigg Boss contestant has even revealed that he has sung songs at vegetable markets and on streets for money. Moreover, he even started playing wrestling to support his family financially. After the Tajik singer made it to the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 16, videos of him singing on the streets & vegetable markets went viral. The young singer, whose parents were farmers, comes from a very middle class background. Abdu didn’t have enough money and used to sing on streets to earn his livelihood. He has sung songs at several bazaars, streets and markets.

Abdu, in one of the Bigg Boss 16 episodes, revealed that he has suffered a lot in his life. His financial situation was so bad at a point in life that his house would be flooded during rainy season. He further said that he has bought big houses for his parents now but earlier they didn’t have a good house to even protect them from water and leakage during monsoon

After failing to earn enough money from his singing skills, he decided to try his luck in wrestling. He used to wrestle with young wrestlers and gain money from there. He gained some popularity from there. His match with another young celeb Mini Kabib aka Hasbulla Magomedov won many hearts.

Abdu later got recognised by many talent agencies and even made his name as “the smallest singer in the world” in the Guinness World of Records. He even sung his first Bollywood song “Chota Bhaijaan” as a tribute to bollywood actor Salman Khan and revived immense love and fame for it.
