Parenthood is an exciting phase in any married couple's life. While some embrace it early, there are others who have taken their time to enter the next phase. Here's looking at TV couples who welcomed babies in their 40s and 50s.

Bigg Boss fame Manoj Tiwari and his wife Surabhi Tiwari are expecting their second baby together. Manoj, who is 51, shared a video of his wife's 'godh bharai' ceremony. His caption read, "You cannot express some happiness in words, you can only feel it."

Bipasha Basu (43) and Karan Singh Grover (40) welcomed a baby girl on November 12. The two announced their pregnancy in August this year with beautiful photos from their maternity shoot. Bipasha was on bed rest for the final trimester. They have named their daughter - Devi.

Teejay Sidhu was over 40 when she conceived for the second time. Teejay and her husband Karanvir Bohra, who already had twin daughters - Bella and Vienna, shared the good news during the lockdown and welcomed their baby girl in December, 2020.

Kishwer and Suyyash became parents to a baby boy, who they call Nirvair, on August 27, 2021. The couple had announced their pregnancy in March the same year. Kishwer was 40 when she was pregnant with her first child. The couple had tied the knot in 2016.

Anita Hassanandani, who is married to Rohit Reddy, conceived her first baby when she was 40. The two announced the good news in 2020 and welcomed their son Aarav into the world on February 7, 2021. Anita told TOI “The age-factor did play on my mind. Many people told me that it’s going to be tough, it overwhelms you. But once I conceived naturally, I realized that age is just a number."

Rajesh Khattar and his wife Vandana Sajnani became proud parents of a baby boy in August, 2019. Rajesh Khattar was 53 when he became a father for the second time. Talking about it he told BT, "For me, becoming a father at 50-plus was another challenge, but then, I am neither the first one, nor the last in this category." His wife Vandana revealed, "After a lot of hardships — three miscarriages, three IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) failures, three IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) failures and three surrogacy failures — over the last 11 years, we have reached here. I want to tell my story because it will inspire couples to keep the faith and not give up hope, whatever their age."
