Deepinder Goyal made headlines as he recently bought two large pieces of land totaling around 5 acres in Mehrauli Tehsil, New Delhi, for a combined cost of Rs 79 crore. As per property registration documents from CRE Matrix, Goyal completed these transactions with different sellers and paid a stamp duty of Rs 5.24 crore. The first land purchase, which was finalized on March 28, 2023, involved acquiring 2.5 acres from Luxalon Building Pvt Ltd for Rs 29 crore, with a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.74 crore. Following this, on September 1, 2023, Goyal bought an additional 2.53 acres from seller Ravi Kapur for Rs 50 crore, along with a stamp duty of Rs 3.50 crore.
